Dental Sealant Program

Preventive dental sealants are provided in county schools for Medicaid eligible and free/reduced lunch recipient children at participating Knox County Schools. Dental sealants are applied to the tooth-chewing surface to help prevent cavities in permanent teeth. Parental authorization is required for services to be provided.
