Heart Smart for Teens

The Heart Smart for Teens grant will allow the Health Department to conduct approximately seven 9-week programs that encourage teens to get active and stay that way through their lifetime. The program will provide a variety of educational materials, nutrition information, physical activity tips and incentives. Trained staff will present Sessions from the Knox County Health Department and the University of Illinois Extension.
