Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria.  The bacteria usually attack the lungs, but can also affect the kidneys, spine and brain.  If not treated properly, TB can be fatal.

 

The Knox County Health Department offers TB screening for:
