The goal of this program is the interruption and prevention of the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) through testing, treatment, case surveillance, education, and partner notification. Testing for chlymidia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, trichomonis, herpes, and genital warts are available. Call the Helth Clinic at 344-2225.
HIV/AIDS prevention education is provided to individuals and groups on a request basis. Confidential counseling and testing for HIV antibodies is available by appointment at the Health Department. Cost is $15. |
