Women, Infants & Children

Provides nutrition and health services to pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children under 5 years who meet nutritional and financial guidelines. Eligible recipients receive a supplemental food package each month. Appointments are required for certification and clinic services. Women with infants under 1 and children 1-5 years of age must fall at or below 185% poverty level to qualify for assistance. Click here for income guidelines.

Formulas approved by the Illinois WIC Program include:
Enfamil Lipil with Iron, Enfamil ProSobee Lipil, Enfamil LactoFree Lipil, Enfamil A.R. Lipil, Enfamil Gentlease Lipil – concentrate or powder.
Other formulas available with specific prescription from physician.
No low iron formula is allowed on the Illinois WIC Program.
